Click Away

When we were out on the pontoon on Saturday the girls asked if they could take pictures with my camera. It was a confined space and they put the strap around their neck, so I let them click away.

When I pulled the pictures onto my computer I couldn’t believe what great shots they got! I had just read an article about how to take better pictures by getting close to your subjects, and that is exactly what they did. I love this picture and how you can see the reflection in Alyssa’s sunglasses.

Luckily, it’s all digital because I deleted almost 200 pictures, but beyond the many blurry pictures of the water, they snuck in a few interesting close ups.

What I love the most is that they chatted with the people they were taking pictures of.

And it shows! They interacted with them and really pulled their personalities into the pictures! We will definitely do this again.

Oh my! Amazing how many wrinkles and freckles show up in these close shots. But the conversation with the photographers was so entertaining. “Don’t drop the camera in the lake!”

    You look amazing Big Sister!
Who’s the old guy with the hat?
